The Meadows trail is quickly becoming many people's favorite trail. It's an awesome and accessible experience to visit the meadow, the creek and the woods. What better place to celebrate National Forest Week by giving back?
The trail needs brushing of non-native and invasive plant species. Join the NFF and G5 crew to make your mark on this awesome new trail, and help open the view for ALL.
Crews will use hand tools to cut back vegetation along the trail corridor.
Difficulty rating: 2/5: .5 hike each direction on packed ground, use of digging, cutting tools and rakes, possible use of drill
Be sure to bring your favorite gear, plenty of snacks and water, high tops (boots preferred), eye protection, long pants, leather gloves and whatever else you need to stay comfortable for a great 4+ hour day in the mountains and meadows
